Jvari Monastery: Evening Aerial of Jvari Hill and Mtskheta

Evening Aerial of Jvari Hill and Mtskheta. Coming down to about 300 m, the drone frames Jvari hill, the roads and the river in the soft evening light. Since 1994 Jvari has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Historical Monuments of Mtskheta”, together with Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Samtavro Monastery. On a clear day the panorama takes in Mtskheta, both river valleys and the hills toward the Caucasus — one of the finest viewpoints in Georgia.
