High Drone Orbit from the North. A higher drone orbit about 22 m above the hilltop, looking at the church from the north with both river valleys around it. Around the middle of the 6th century a small church was built beside the venerated cross; its remains survive just north of the main church. Since 1994 Jvari has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Historical Monuments of Mtskheta”, together with Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Samtavro Monastery.
