Low Drone Orbit from the East. A low drone pass about 12 m above the hilltop, circling the church from the east. The dome rests on squinches — small arches across the corners — a technique that let the builders set a round drum over a square space. Below the cliff the Aragvi and the Mtkvari (Kura) rivers meet — and on many days you can see their two different colours flowing side by side.
