Low Drone Orbit from the North. A low drone pass about 9 m above the hilltop, circling the church from the north. Inside, under the dome, stands the great octagonal stone base that, by tradition, once held Saint Nino’s wooden cross. Since 1994 Jvari has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Historical Monuments of Mtskheta”, together with Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Samtavro Monastery.
