Low Drone Orbit from the West. A low drone pass about 12 m above the hilltop, circling the church from the west. Look across to Mtskheta for the tall roofs of Svetitskhoveli, the 11th-century cathedral that tradition says keeps the robe of Christ. Carved reliefs decorate the facades: donor figures on the east side and, over the south portal, angels raising the cross — the Exaltation of the Cross.
