Railing Terrace over the Valley. A paved terrace with a railing wraps around the church, offering a sweeping view down into the valley. The Aragvi comes down from the Greater Caucasus along the Georgian Military Road before it meets the Mtkvari here. On a clear day the panorama takes in Mtskheta, both river valleys and the hills toward the Caucasus — one of the finest viewpoints in Georgia.
