Timotesubani Monastery: Above the Cross, over the Borjomi Gorge

Just above the cross of the dome, the panorama spans the monastery grounds, the red roof of St. Barbara's on its terrace and the long green valley running toward Tsagveri. For eight centuries this view has framed a church built in Georgia's Golden Age that still draws pilgrims and travellers.
