Timotesubani Monastery: Brick Gable of the Dormition Church from Above

Hovering level with the roof, the camera meets a gable of the Church of the Dormition: rose-pink brick laid in even courses, a single arched window and the copper-toned roof sheets that now protect the vaults. Brick is unusual for a major medieval Georgian church, and it gives Timotesubani its warm colour.
