Timotesubani Monastery: Drone View over the Timotesubani Valley

High above the Timotesubani valley, forested ridges of the Borjomi Gorge fold toward the village road and the open Mtkvari valley beyond. From this height the monastery's setting makes sense: a sheltered side valley of the historic Tori province, whose lord Shalva Akhaltsikheli built the main church in the age of Queen Tamar.
