Timotesubani Monastery: Hillside and Vaulted Burial Crypt

On the overgrown slope above the courtyard, a low stone wall frames the small arched mouth of a vaulted crypt — remains of a burial vault survive northeast of St. Barbara's church on the upper terrace. Wild shrubs, a dry-stone terrace and the church dome glimpsed against the sun complete the scene.
